ABOUT THE TRAILThe Hamilton Greenbelt in Lakeway is a surprisingly nice hiking trail. There seem to be many sub-trails off of the main Greenbelt which might actually be part of neighborhood trail system, but either way, the whole area is really nice. There is a lot of up and down thru the hills, plus areas with limestone outcroppings. I found this to be an excellent hike for my dog. It is hard for me to judge how long the hiking trail is since it wanders all over the place with multiple routes. Round-trip I'd say it was about 6 miles.
HOW TO GET THEREFrom 620 turn down Lakeway Blvd. About a mile or so down, turn right onto Lohman's Crossing. The parking area is just a short ways down on the right side.
